BMW E30 M3 Sport Evo

The BMW M3 was first introduced in 1986, owing its inception to BMW’s Motorsport Department, designed primarily as a race car with its production of the road cars required for homologation.

Since then the E30 M3 has been recognised as one of the most iconic cars of the 1980’s and earned its place in history books as one of the most successful touring cars of all times, upholding 12 touring car champions within 5 years. It is no surprise the E30 M3 is a drivers favourite in either its road or track guise.

After fours years of M3 production and a two previous Evolutions the Sport Evolution was launched in 1989/90 with only limited numbers were produced to fulfil the criteria of the FISA Homologation.

Only 600 Sport Evolutions were built now provided with the more powerful 2.5l capacity S14 engine with 238hp. Only supplied in either Brilliant Red or Jet Black.

The unique features did not stop there with changes to the the wheels now fitted with 16 inch two tone BBS wheels as standard with the Iconic front box arches altered to accommodate the new spec wheels, also benefited from Front and Rear Adjustable spoilers.

The interior also received upgrades with the steering wheel and gear knobs trimmed in suede, Recaro front seats fitted as standard and finished off with red seat belts.

The stunning Jet Black example we are offering has covered only 141,650km since first registered in Italy in May 1990 with 5 former keepers. The cars service history is complete with a full Italian service history until it import to the UK in Aug 2000. Since in the UK the car has a a full set of service stamps to date.

Acquired by the current owner and private collector from Chris Harris of Top Gear fame in late 2015 since his ownership the car has covered 7,000km and maintained by ourselves throughout with all preventative maintenance carried out upon the car to ensure the car is turnkey ready at anytime.

This is a truly beautiful example with the engine, bodywork & interior in superb condition.
